Adventurers Child Care Centre is an inclusive child care centre.  Each child is given the opportunity to grow and develop in a safe and healthy environment of honesty, fair play and support.  Children are encouraged and given the opportunity to explore their interests and their environment in a supportive and nurturing setting.

At Adventurers Child Care Centre, we believe that children learn best by pursuing their personal interests and goals, and children at Adventurers are encouraged to make choices about materials and activities throughout the day. As they pursue their choices and plans, children explore, ask and answer questions, solve problems, and interact with classmates and adults.

Teachers and caregivers participate as partners in children's activities rather than relate to children primarily as instructors or supervisors.

Our teachers stress positive interaction strategies: focusing on children's strengths, forming authentic relationships with children, supporting children's play ideas and adopting a problem-solving approach to social conflict.

Adventurers Child Care Centre is committed to caring for the child, and their family.  Our welcoming atmosphere allows parents to be involved in their child’s day.  Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing environment, which is a natural progression from home to child care, while providing a warm, caring environment to further develop children’s potential creative, intellectual, social and physical skills. We have a communication system that ensures open parent to staff contact both formally (progress reports) and informally (daily communication) throughout the program year.
